Nata a Busto Arsizio nel 1972, lavoro in ambito socio-educativo. Autodidatta, ho seguito diversi corsi e workshop con fotografi riconosciuti in Italia e all’estero. Scattare è diventato nel tempo necessità di fissare nella memoria la vita che scorre e scrivere le mie emozioni. Ritraggo soprattutto luoghi di vita e persone. Uso prevalentemente il bianco e nero, ma non solo.

Ho esordito con il progetto personale “La Cura e l’Abbandono” presentato nel 2021 e 2022 presso gli spazi dell’Associazione Vibra di Arona e lo spazio culturale Civico 3 di Gallarate, di cui faccio parte.

Nel 2022 in occasione del Urban Photo Award partecipo all’esposizione collettiva presso Trieste Airport, di seguito alcuni miei scatti sono stati esposti a Letterature Urbane 7.0 a Vercelli.

Nel febbraio 2023 ancora vengo invitata nello spazio Civico 3 ad esporre il lavoro sulle ombre “Genesi” che esce in un’esposizione a due con la fotografa Chiara Mazzeri. L’esposizione sarà intitolata “Margine”

Una fotografa in continua sfida con se stessa: la fotografia per lei è ricerca e scoperta. Sara si è avvicinata alla macchina fotografica con una curiosità quasi infantile, che si è trasformata in stupore e meraviglia di fronte all’improbabile: nei luoghi abbandonati sente ” battiti di vita”, in un teatro delle ombre percepisce vibrazioni ed emozioni inaspettate. Born in Busto Arsizio in 1972, I work in the socio-educational field. Self-taught, I followed several courses and workshops with photographers recognized in Italy and abroad.

Over time, shooting has become a need to fix the life that flows in the memory and write my emotions. I mostly portray places of life and people. I mainly use black and white, but not only.

I made my debut with the personal project “La Cura e l’Abbandono” presented in 2021 and 2022 at the spaces of the Vibra Association in Arona and the Civic 3 cultural space in Gallarate, of which I am part.

In 2022 on the occasion of the Urban Photo Award I participate in the collective exhibition at Trieste Airport, below some of my shots were exhibited at Letterature Urbane 7.0 in Vercelli.

In February 2023 I was again invited to the Civico 3 space to exhibit the work on shadows “Genesis” which comes out in an exhibition for two with the photographer Chiara Mazzeri. The exhibition will be entitled “Margin”

A photographer in constant challenge with herself: photography for her is research and discovery. Sara approached the camera with an almost childish curiosity, which turned into amazement and wonder in the face of the improbable: in abandoned places she hears “beats of life”, in a shadow theater she perceives unexpected vibrations and emotions.
